Did you know that the Macedon Ranges Shire is one of 15 councils involved in a bid for World Heritage listing for our Central Victorian Goldfield history?
This is just one of the ways the Macedon Ranges can leverage history and culture to drive economic development.
Working in partnership with others is so important as people do not recognise shire boundaries, they simply want a great visitor experience wherever they go.
Exploring History
In the West Ward, Malmsbury, has a Bluestone history and thanks to local resident Sue Walker it has been listed as a Global Heritage resource.
